My Little Pony shoes. These shoes were horribly uncomfortable so were deemed sacrifice worthy. This was also my 1st time with Sculpy Clay. Thanks to a few online tutorials, it wasn’t a complete disaster. Not as good as I was hoping but the result is still a bit “hoofy.” I went with “warlock purple” and “dwarf bronze” for the colors.
Origami Shawl. Simple to make and versatile to wear. For those unfamiliar with BurdaStyle, I found the idea from one of the regular members. BurdaStyle is an online sewing community. Sign up is free and they have many different free patterns, ideas, and tutorials. I crib many a great idea from my fellow designers.
I love this idea not just because its easy to make (especially if you have a special button-hole foot for your badass Viking sewing machine) but it’s easy to mod as well.
Since I’ve made my first one, I’m planning on modifying the next one with a dinosaur theme:
(a) I’ll split it into two pieces
(b) sew dino spikes into the center seam
(c) attach a hood
(d) sew dino spikes in the center seam of hood
Cause stegosaurus’ are one of my top five fav dinosaurs :)
